Cover Supervisor

Required: September 2018 - Fixed term to 19th July 2019  -  Salary: Grade 4, point 20 

30 hours per week - 40 weeks per year 

Principal duties:

  • support teaching staff by providing classroom cover
  • implementing set work
  • monitoring pupils and reporting on progress during short-term teacher absence
  • Other duties could involve administrative/technical support, examination supervision and accompanying school trips.

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic individual with good communication and teamwork skills to join our staff.   Experience of working with young people in the 11-16 age groups would be an advantage.  The ability to be flexible, to use initiative and to be able to work under pressure is essential. Induction and training will be provided.
