Course Content: -    The course is made up of 2 units

  • Unit 1 – Developing Web Products
  • Unit 2 – Creative Multimedia

Students will study a range of topics designed to engage and enthuse young people with an interest in creative computing. Some of the topics studied are as follows:-

  • Project lifecycle
  • Website structure and composition
  • Accessibility
  • HTML coding
  • Design and development of multimedia products
  • Collecting and creating digital assets
  • Prototyping and testing
  • Accessible multimedia products
  • E-portfolios
  • Industry standards

Methods of Assessment: - The students will be assessed on their performance in a written examination and a summative project.  The project is completed across Years 10 and 11 and the exams will take place at the end of Year 11.

  • Unit 2 – Creative Multimedia – Summative Project
