Physical Education (PE)

Key Stage 3 (Years 7 – 9)

At Key Stage 3 all work is based on the national curriculum and delivered in the form of six curriculum areas. These are Outwitting Opponents (games activities), Accurate Replication of Movement (gymnastics activities), Emotion through Movement (dance), Health and Fitness Performing at Maximal levels (athletic activities), and finally Identifying and Solving Problems (outdoor adventurous activities).

We aim to give students the opportunity to develop their sport specific skills through these units of work whilst promoting core values to develop the pupil’s behaviour for learning. Our objective is to promote a healthy active lifestyle and a lifelong passion for sports participation.
